I'm a health nut with an addiction to learning new things. If you were to take a peak at my audible and podcast playlists, then you'd find a whole lot of nonfiction, covering self help, spirituality, nutrition, and, of course, business. My mind is always moving and processing, so I love finding new workouts or worship songs to keep it still, for even just a moment. Other times, I let it run wild and learn a new system or share an idea, which is essentially what led me here.
After working in digital media with big companies for 6 years in AUS and the US, I decided to take the plunge and go out on my own. My goal is to apply the skills I've learned working for major brands, plus some of my self-taught skills, to the needs of small-medium businesses and entrepreneurs.
While I loved the BIG-ness of my job, team, and budgets, I wanted a little more meaning. Big brands can have anyone on their team, but small businesses don't have it so easy. They have to learn so many skills themselves and wear a million hats all day long; it's a struggle even without the overwhelming complexity of new online marketing platforms. After being asked for candid advice from quite a few solopreneurs and home-based businesswomen, I felt for them, and I wanted to help on a more regular basis than after 8pm or weekends.
I'm a passionate person who believes what they produce is a direct reflection of themselves. I care a lot about the work I'm doing. You can't control everything, but you can always try to have a positive mindset. As the oldest of 4 kids (now I actually have 9 siblings in total!), I admit it took me a while to realize this, and I'm sure I need reminding sometimes.
I'm a real person, not a one-stop shop software, who wants to help you show off your exciting business ideas, as well as your inspiring story. I want to help take away the stress of trying to learn Google, Facebook, Adwords, Squarespace, Wordpress, Pinterest, YouTube, Photoshop, and all the rest!, off of your shoulders. Let my crazy mind deal with that : ).
